Marubeni through it’s subsidiary company, Ravva Oil Singapore Pte Ltd, participates in Oil & Gas development project in India, having 12.5% stake in Ravva Field operating since 1994. The other equity holders are Vedanta Ltd (22.5% stake and also the Operator), ONGC (40% stake) and Videocon Industries Ltd (25% stake). The Ravva Oil Field is located in Krishna Godavari Basin, on the eastern coast of India. And the field is now producing crude oil and natural gas which is sold to Government nominees (PSUs) domestically. Ravva field produces an average of 26,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day. The PSC (Production sharing contract), with the Govt of India, is valid until the year 2029. |
