  • Managing a diverse portfolio (upstream and downstream) ranging from tree plantation, manufacturing and trading of pulp, paper and paper products through domestic and international sales networks.

In Vietnam Marubeni has established

“Kraft of Asia Paperboard & Packaging Co., Ltd.”, a containerboard manufacturing and packaging materials sales company.

Marubeni targets the second half of FY2020 for the commencement of commercial operation with an annual full capacity of 350,000 tons.

Daio Paper Corporation (51%) and Marubeni Corporation (49%) acquire Santher S.A, one of the main player in consumer goods, paper for industrial use and hygiene solution market in Brazil.

Marubeni group focus on promotion and sale of Santher’s specialty paper (FSC and ISEGA certified) for packaging industry in global market .
